The Perfect Combination: Ice Cream and Espresso in Our Affogato Recipe

This classic Italian dessert is a perfect combination of hot and cold, sweet and bitter, and creamy and smooth. With just two simple ingredients – espresso and vanilla ice cream – you can create a sophisticated dessert that will delight your taste buds and satisfy your sweet tooth. The trick to making the perfect Affogato is to use a high-quality espresso and premium vanilla ice cream. Simply brew a shot of espresso, scoop some ice cream into a glass or bowl, and pour the hot coffee over the top. The heat of the espresso will cause the ice cream to melt slightly, creating a rich and velvety texture. 2. 1-2 scoops of vanilla gelato or ice cream
3. 1-2 shots of hot espresso
4. Optional: shaved chocolate or crushed nuts for garnish

Step 1: Add fresh water to the water reservoir of the Outin Nano portable electric espresso maker. We recommend adding 50ml of water to obtain the best espresso taste.
Step 2: Properly and securely insert the espresso capsule into the designated slot on the Outin Nano portable espresso maker.
Step 3: Place 1-2 scoops of vanilla gelato or ice cream in your pretty glass.
Step 4: Set up the expresso cup under the portable electric espresso maker and press the button for 3 seconds to activate the water heating process, which will be signalled by a beep. It takes approximately 3 minutes for the portable espresso maker to heat 50 ml of water. Once the water is heated, the espresso extraction will start automatically.
Step 5: Immediately pour the hot espresso over the ice cream.
Step 6: Top with shaved chocolate or crushed nuts, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Affogato!
